The new iCart introduces smart-steer, a hybrid steering technique bringing about major advances in speed and manoeuverability. With smart-steer the iCart dynamically links two different steering methods to enable high speed precise linear travel and high stability cornering. This new technology is implemented across the new iCart range of AGV solutions. Travel times can be reduced by over 50% in many applications. New commands permit spin turns without forward movement drastically reducing the space requirements between stations and through corners.

iCart 2 can significantly reduce the number of iCarts required in an application. It can also manoeuvre and turn in narrow isles moving along the same routes as operators.

Options now include Lithium Battery Packs, a vision based path following system and reverse motion.
